Arcturian Reiki

A modality that’s 5 years old, with an author and a date. Better to say it right away: nobody has decades of perspective on it, me included. I’ve been a certified practitioner in it since 2026, and it’s the most recent of my three practices.

Where it comes from

Pete Donarski, 2021

Arcturian Reiki was channeled in 2021 by Pete Donarski, a British practitioner and the founder of The Reiki Club. That’s the whole story: no ancient lineage, no forgotten master, no rediscovered manuscript.

The name, though, comes from elsewhere. It refers to the “Arcturians,” beings that contemporary spiritual circles link to the star Arcturus and present as the source of this transmission. That’s the origin of the name, as the practice itself tells it. I’m giving it to you because it explains the word, not because I’m asking you to believe it.

You often see a vague origin given for this practice. Here’s the real one, with a name and a year.

It’s young, and that means something: little perspective, little accumulated feedback. Better that you know it before reading on.

The principle

How Arcturian healing is practiced

1

All seven chakras at once

Where other approaches move up the energy centers one by one, Arcturian works on them simultaneously. It’s its most distinctive trait.

2

No prerequisites

You don’t need to have been attuned to another form of Reiki first. You can come to it without knowing anything else.

3

No system of levels

There’s no first or second level, and no mastery to earn. The modality is passed on in one piece, which sets it apart from both Usui and Kundalini.

What it claims

What it focuses on

The modality presents itself as geared toward three things: patterns that keep repeating no matter what you do, generational memories, and what the tradition calls past lives.

That’s how the system describes itself, not a promise from me. There’s no study behind it, and I won’t guarantee any result. I tell you where it comes from and what it claims to do, and you make up your own mind.

What I do with it

The one I bring in on purpose

I bring it out when there’s a specific situation to work on, because it goes deep on those. The other two practices run in the background in my sessions; this one, I have to decide to open.

When someone arrives with something heavy, I have two options: my own technique, or this one.

“Sébastien had me write my intention on a piece of paper. It’s completely wild to see how much the energy worked on exactly what I had written.”

R., after a distance session

One person’s experience. Individual experiences vary.

Next step

Request a session

You don’t have to choose a technique: in the session I use what fits what you bring. Sessions are pay what you want: you choose the amount after the session, whichever practice was used.

If you’d like to know first what a session looks like, everything is laid out on the distance Reiki page: a short video call, then the session, then a look back at what each of us sensed.

Reiki is a wellbeing practice and is not a substitute for medical or psychological care. It doesn’t diagnose anything.
